Sr anh nha, nhưng chự anh xấu ngang tầm chữ em rồi. Mặc dù anh cute thật nhưng đập vô mắt chỉ thấy ....em sr.

SINGAPORE : Adam Lambert was American Idol's most flamboyant contestant to date and is no stranger to controversy.

The hot favourite to win the eighth season of the popular reality show - he eventually lost the title to Kris Allen - the glamrocker won the hearts of many fans.

Perhaps it's his showmanship or the stage theatrics - who can forget his racy performance at last year's American Music Awards where he kissed a male keyboardist and simulated sexual movements while performing a risque version of his song "For Your Entertainment" - or the "guyliner" that he uses so generously to create his signature smoky eye look.

"I think it is really important to carve out your niche and have your 'thing'," Lambert, 28, told Primetime Morning two weeks ago when he was in town for a showcase.

"Obviously the eyeliner and nail polish is kind of synonymous with what I am about and I just think it's glam. To me, glam is something that for men, is not as common as it used to be and I really enjoy it so I am trying to resurrect it, glitter and all!"

Affectionately known as Glambert by his fans, the singer revealed that he uses M.A.C eyeliner and would one day hope to have his own unisex make-up line.

"Sound and image are two parts of who I am as an artiste. Sound comes first, of course, but image is a big part of it as well," said Lambert, who knew he wanted to be an entertainer since he was ten. His influences include British rocker David Bowie, Queen's Freddie Mercury, Prince and Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant.

"Someone like David Bowie is a big influence on me but he's actually a bigger visually than musically. And there's artistes that I listen to like Prince and he's also another one that's both, both vocal and visual."

Though his debut album "For Your Entertainment", which was released in November last year, features songs penned by stars like Lady Gaga, Pink and rockers Muse, Lambert said he was still very much involved in the production process of every track.

"Five of the tracks on the album I co-wrote myself so those are really important to me because they came from personal experiences. Vocally, they are definitely my own voice and then the songs that were selected by other people were the songs that resonated with me, songs that I felt I could get behind artistically and musically and songs that I could make my own.

"Luckily virtually every song in the production process I was able to voice my own opinion and it was always heard, so I did feel very involved in every track and every element of the album."

The singer added that he hopes to collaborate with David Bowie, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera in the future. And he is not limiting himself to just pop, alternative, and rock music.

"Probably jazz," said Lambert, whose DJ dad had introduced him to different types of music at an early age.

"I definitely see myself experimenting with other styles in the future. I would love to get deeper into the electronic thing, I would like to try some funk music, I would like to go into maybe some soul, maybe some harder rock."

When asked where he sees himself in the next ten years, he said, "If I had my way, I would love to keep performing and making albums and music videos, touring and just evolving and becoming an even more specific artiste and discovering parts of myself musically, just expressing myself. Maybe moving into film at some point, just entertaining people. That’s what I'm here to do."
