Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen in French Magazine ONE
Adam Lambert: In Love!
Adam Lambert is working hard on his new album, the follower of For Your Entertainment, released now two years ago. Expected in the fall, this new album will be entierly co-written by Adam, which was not the case of his first one, "I feel very creative at this moment, and I've got all the reasons to think that this album will be what I've done best for now, declared the glam prince. I feel confortable in my own skin and in my life, and it has a very positive influence on my music. I can't wait for my fans to hear this new songs." Happy in love, Adam is, in fact. On Twitter, the star introduced us to his new lover, Sauli Koskinen, wich he is dating since the beginning of the year. We wish him all the happiness in the world!
Oh God!! Today was again that day, that I almost lost in in LA traffic. Here the traffic rarely works and other times never. I had an appointment with the hair dresser today at 3 and I called a cab a half an hour before. They said it would take 10 minutes, but surprisingly it took an hour. Fortunately my hair is great and I calmed down and they forgave me for being late. (Now Sauli's hair is silver white) :) rock!
We Finns are not used to wait/be late for our appointments. Here it's normal, if you make an appointment, you can add a couple of hours to it. Everyone is always late and no-one seems to care about the times. 60 kilometre drive can take an hour at times or even 3 and a half. You never know. Just one accident in those traffic jams and you're there for a couple of hours. Lots of people have gone nuts in traffic jams here and begun shooting at other cars. Maybe after this the 4 o'clock traffic jams eill feel like nothing in Finland. :)
I don't own a car here and I haven't needed one yet. Many people are saying that you can't be without a car in Los Angeles. Well I've been doing great with my two feet and common sense. Of course if you had to travel to another city or the other side of the city daily because of work, then a car is a good decision. Here the public transportation are not all that. We Finns are walking people and here people wonder, that are you really going to the store by foot?.. :) A year from now I'm probably the village idiot and everyone will whout, that there goes that walking weirdo. :)
Today this weirdo went to the store by foot again and I was buying a bottle of wine, but they didn't sell it to me, because I didn't have my passport. I had my driver's licence, but that's not acceptable proof in this country. So you always have to bring your passport along if you want to buy alcohol, cigarettes or anything else that can proof your age. You can't get into nightclubs if you don't have an ID, no matter what age you are. Alcohol consumption is also a very interesting thing in this country. We in Finland have very strict laws concerning drinking alcohol, if you drink alcohol you can't drive. Here it's like, I'm going to party with my car and I drive back home with my car...hmmm... Scary but true! I've also always wondered, why people are carrying alcohol in a paper bag. Here you get a huge fine if you carry a bottle without the paper bag or if you're sitting in a car and you're holding a bottle. Now the rest of this text is all about alcohol, but that's alright I think...hah! (I'm completely sober and I have never touched hard liquor.. buahahah) yay!!
Very love and sober weekend! :)
Oikein ihanaa ja raitista tulevaa viikonloppua! :)

Life & Animals New week, new stuff!! This week I'm going on a little trip out of LA, so that's why I'm writing my latest update so early in the week. :D I don't know how well you know LA, but this big city is made up of small cities. Often, when you're talking about LA, you mean the narrow part between Downtown and the sea. In this are you'll find Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Malibu Beach. Downtown is mostly full of big skyscrapers and is really just a business district and kind of a dangerous place to be in at night. Beverly Hills is a lovely place where only rich people (stars) live, but you can walk around there and spend hours. Sometimes I get all ragey when I see these places that are just whoah!!! :D Anyway...
Last weekend I was in Malibu Beach, which is a great place on the north shore. A group of us were eating in a restaurant called Moonshadows, which is built on the water
The food was so good I almost passed out, and of course I had to eat so much I couldn't move... :D And the best drinks I've tasted around here (and once more we're on to alcohol) huh :D The menu in this restaurant is pretty fish-heavy, but heavenly. I never really liked seafood in Finland, but since I've been here I hardly eat anything but fish or other sea creatures. At first I wondered what that was about, but there are just so many different kinds of sea delicacies you can't get in Finland. Yum!!
All right, and after all this eating and drinking it's best to once more start a more 'healthy' life. :D Today begun with a proper run and I just love how much energy I get from that. Wow!! Why don't I always do it?? Here in Hollywood the running tracks aren't that boring. I usually run in Runyon Canyon Park, which is right next to Hollywood, up in the hills. The track starts on street level, but once you get up there, the view is really awesome!!
After this I haven't been missing the 200m little circle in Töölönlahti. The only downside about running here is the snakes, spiders and bugs. Yuck!! After all, in Finland we just have the one species of venomous snake and here there are hundreds. :( You see all kinds of animals and critters around here. Last weekend was really interesting. I saw coyotes and after that we had this little raccoon situation. These cute little pests will come into the yard and tear up all the flowerbed, and then get the pool all muddy taking a swim.. Great! Raccoons aren't afraid of people, and they'll come right inside if the door's open. Today we had this hero spying through the window!!
It really is nice to make all these new friends. What's next?? Seven little dudes and I'll be feeling like Snow White. :D
YAY! I'll try to update with stories and pictures during my trip. Bye til then!! :D
Goodbye NYC, hello again LA! My week in NYC was awesome. I went to exhibits and musicals and ate lovely meals. I'm sure many of you have visited New York; it was the third time for me. I stayed in Soho for a week and it's absolutely the best place in NYC!! Not so touristy, much quieter, and has the best shopping :)
At the beginning of the week I went to the Alexander McQueen exhibit and that was quite the experience! What a talented man. WOW! Many celebrities are fans of McQueen's creations and I can see why. Lady Gaga, for one, wears a lot of McQueen outfits and shoes. I'm sure everyone has seen these shoes in her videos and on the red carpet.
I was kind of bummed that you couldn't take pictures inside the museum.. :( Make sure you have lots of time when you go to this exhibit, because the line was looooong!! About three hours, that's pretty long. I myself slipped past the line unnoticed :) haha!! There's nothing I hate as much as I hate standing in line!! Argh!! I can't handle just standing there. I assume this is a common problem??
On Friday, I went to a ”theater” show called 'Sleep No More' and all I can say is WHOA!! It's hard to put into words, but I hope you can make this out. You go in through a dark maze and everyone is given a number. At the end of the maze is a 30s/40s style cabaret restaurant, where you can have a few drinks. At this point I'll say it's a good idea to have a few!! Everyone, down to the waiters, is dressed in the style of the era and it feels really authentic. You have to wait in the restaurant until your name is called and after that, the audience is divided up into groups. At the back of the restaurant is a room where you go and get a mask. You're told not to speak or remove the mask during the show.. (I was panicking so hard by this point).. And that's only the beginning.. They welcome you into a hotel where strange things happen and you get a short overview of the hotel's history. The hotel has six floors and you can move freely wherever you want. There are people (actors) living in the hotel and you should pay attention to where they go. Only sometimes the actors put on masks too so you can't always tell who's an actor and who's audience. So scary!! So it's a huge, dark, scary, smoky place and strange things happen in the rooms.. like ”murders”. One time I ended up in a labyrinth and it took me 15 minutes to find my way out again.. All told, you have two hours to walk around the hotel, and I recommend you stay till the end. The end is the best part, you find out how the story progressed. I know it's hard to make sense of this, but you just can't write it.. You have to see it!! The scariest experience ever, but so impressive!! Maybe in a week I'll be able to sleep through the night again without thinking about it...
New York was lovely, but coming back to Los Angeles was even better!! YAY
Tiếng Việt:
Tạm biệt New York xin chào LA!
Well, the weekend was one big whirlpool of a gala event... whew! But the weekend's over now and no more need to get all dressed up in a too-tight tie and a hot suit jacket.. The weather here keeps getting hotter by the day.. I should probably get an electric fan to hang around my neck, I feel like I can't take two steps before I'm pouring sweat like Niagara Falls.. hah! :)
Friday was the Equality Awards in Beverly Hills, a fundraiser for sexual minorities. People shared their brave and inspiring stories. I nearly teared up at one woman's story of how she had lost her son, only because he was part of a sexual minority.. It gives you pause sometimes to think of how violent and cruel people can be, even in this country.. Of course we could argue over this forever, but it just makes me angry that so many people are still stuck in the stone age and can't open their eyes to modern-day reality/the future!! argh!! But let's not pick a fight over this.. :) hah! At Friday's event, I got a little lost when dinner came. There were so many utensils at the table, I couldn't tell what was meant for what.. I just had to watch others.. It was one of those things you see in movies and always fear it'll happen to you ;)
On Saturday I went to the Do Something Awards, which was a charity event as well, to honor people who have done something great to help America move in a better direction.. Tyra Banks, David Beckham and Justin Bieber were among the recipients of a Do Something Award. It was an interesting event and of course it was fun to see who all was there.. Tyra of course was pretty as a baseball cap and Justin Bieber's pants were interesting.. He was wearing gold jeans that hung at his knees.. He looked like he had trouble walking up to the stage to receive his award.. Reminded me of a penguin, somehow.. :) hah! But who am I to complain, I was wearing silver skinny jeans and what with my hair being silver as well these days, I'm sure people thought I was from outer space.. haha.. I'm all over the place today, but so what..
Today was the start of a new week and new adventures.. I went jogging and returned to healthy living.. :) I have to close with a picture of what I found at the supermarket.. (and notice the bottle is full, and unopened.. this will be saved for a bigger event..) So continues Sauli's healthy lifestyle... hahahah!!

Another week has passed and over the weekend I took a little trip to San Francisco for my friends' wedding. The wedding was held in an old vineyard high up on the mountains. We were high enough that the clouds were practically touching our heads.. An amazing location!! Weddings are such lovely parties and I'm very upset that I missed my friends' wedding in Finland last month.. :( And of course I'm upset about my own wedding being called off.. hahahhahahahha!! I shoved my wedding dress in a vacuum bag to wait for the right moment.. ;) Eep, what a mess one little joke led to..
Anyway, I've finally gone off the deep end and jumped on the superfood bandwagon American style.. I started a four-day juice cleanse today. Katri and I sampled some superfoods during Tutka, but now it's time to see how they work for real. Katri's face was A+ after the super shot... (you can check this out in an old Tutka) haha!!! So, the cleanse consists of six different drinks per day and this is what you're supposed to drink every two hours.. whoa!!
I'm one day in and food is all I can think about, I'm so hungry! It seems like food commercials are the only kind on TV and that doesn't make it any easier. The first day of a cleanse is supposed to be easy, but I for one have been short-tempered all day and I'm so hungry. I don't even want to think about tomorrow.. :) Usually when you start a cleanse you're supposed to cut down considerably on food beforehand, but I just ate till my stomach ached up until the day before.. haha!! So off to a good start! But I said I was going to do this, so I'm going to finish it! Besides, this cleanse has been tested by Brad Pitt, Demi Moore and others.. ;) The brochure said Brad Pitt tried it before Troy. So in four days, this is what's going to be peeking back at me in the mirror: [pic]
Not bad.. ;) But of course these cleanses have their benefits, it honestly does you good to rid the body of all the extra toxins. I tried a cleanse once about five years ago and I felt great afterwards, but it wasn't quite as strict as this one.. What I do remember is that when it was over, I didn't want fast food for a couple of weeks, just healthy foods. So it's a good way to start a healthier lifestyle, but knowing me, it'll last just those couple of weeks.. haha!! The Panda licorice and Finlandia vodka are waiting in the cupboard... ;) And why do all my blogs end with the same topic..?? Well let's close this with: I'm sooo happy, for a change..
ps. You've left such lovely comments for me and I've read every single comment. THANK YOU!! love you! :)
